CONGRATULATIONS to Group II’s Veronica on your 20-year anniversary!

Veronica is a staff who wears many hats around here! She runs weekly sewing classes, does group therapies, is a group float, and has many bussing duties. She is very passionate and puts her whole heart in to these duties and activities each day.

She has brought many volunteer opportunities for our clients to be a part of including Cupid Crew, Bridging, Aliveness Project, Stellar Kindness and more. You can tell the clients enjoy these opportunities and get a sense of pride from helping others.

Veronica is a problem solver who comes up with good ideas to help clients achieve their goals.

She is a consistent, reliable staff and a helpful coworker.

Veronica has a good rapport with many clients in our group and throughout the building, especially when encouraging someone to complete a goal or task.

CONGRATULATIONS to RHONDA on your 3-YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Three years in and Rhonda is still holding strong when it comes to helping with some challenging situations. She continues to support her room clients in all they do. Helping them achieve higher production goals, encouraging mobility goals, and maintaining healthy weight balance.

Rhonda continues to show that she always has the client's best interest in mind and always puts them first in every situation. Whether it is in their daily activities or helping them plan outings, she gets the clients involved in the process.

She continues to help with sewing class and will also bring the sewing class to the room, making items for the group.

We are happy to have Rhonda as part of our group.

CONGRATULATIONS to KLUBO on your 3-YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Three years in and Klubo continues to be someone that is willing to take your bussing from you, toilet for you, or ask to switch up her schedule with someone else so she can move more.

She has taken on the bus captain role and does a wonderful job standing up for the clients during the bussing time and speaking up with any concerns that may arise during her time on duty. She continues to hold a float position in group 3 and can seamlessly pick up in any room.

She works well with the clients that use the gait training equipment and has done a wonderful job of helping build a client's confidence in walking in a gait trainer without having a staff hold a hand on the front. This client now books it through the hall with ease and enjoyment knowing he is safe but also moving on his own with the constant encouragement of Klubo.

We are pleased to have Klubo as part of our team.

CONGRATULATIONS to DOMINIC on your 3-YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Dominic continues to do an outstanding job when working with any of the group 4 clients. Over his three years, he has built wonderful relationships with many of the clients, and he continues to lead with his calm and relaxed response when dealing with any situation a day may hold.

Dominic loves making sure the client’s outcomes are run and makes it a point to get the working goals completed with the clients when they are in his room. He brings out the best in them and is known for helping them make healthy choices when it comes to his vegetable-centered cooking class day.

Dominic continues to be a big part of all the in-house activities group 4 puts on for our clients, and his Golden Globes Day is a huge hit for the extremely person-centered approach to every detail that is thought of.

Group 4 has been lucky to have Dominic as part of our WorkAbilities Team.

CONGRATULATIONS to JAN on your 1-YEAR ANNIVERSARY

This is not Jan’s first 1-year anniversary or even her second 1-year anniversary, but in fact her fourth 1-year anniversary at WorkAbilities. She is a seasoned employee that has shown her gifts to WorkAbilities time after time and has yet again made it through another first year of more fun in a new role.

Though Jan is only here part-time, she has proven to be instrumental with the clients of group 4. Building wonderful relationships in a short time and making an impact on those she works with. Clients are all about routine, and they know that when Monday and Friday come around in room 29 it is “Jan Day.”

Jan has been a great fit into group 4 and has done an awesome job of giving the best to the clients and bringing great experience from working with so many of them outside of our company.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ROSE ON YOUR 3-YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

In the last three years, Rose has made quite an impression on some of the clients in group 3. If Tyler had it his way, he would take Rose home every day with him. Chad does a little for some people and a lot more for Rose. She has built great relationships with each of the clients in her room, and it can be seen daily with how the room interacts together when Rose is present.

Rose continues to be a group 3 participant for the sewing class and does a great job of keeping up with the snack bag production that group 3 oversees along with many of the other sewing class projects.

Rose is always bringing a smile to the clients throughout the group and bound to be filling the room with her heartful laugh that’s sure to keep things fun.

Group 3 is happy to have Rose as part of the WorkAbilities Team.
