May her memory be a blessing! She was such a wonderful friend to and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and we know so many people are missing her today.

Below are several quotes from Dolly Parton supporting our communities. Please add more in the comments because there are so many!
💜Parton waded into the tangle of state laws in 2016, emphatically telling CNN: “I hope that everybody gets a chance to be who and what they are. I just know, if I have to p*e, I’m gon’ p*e, wherever it’s got to be.”
💜Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter back in November 2023, she argued that trans people “cannot help” being trans “any more than I can help being Dolly Parton”.
“I just want everybody to be treated good,” she said.
She continued: “If there’s something to be judged, that is God’s business. But we are all God’s children and how we are is who we are.”
💜 I've struggled enough in my life to be appreciated and understood. I've had to go against all kinds of people through the years just to be myself. I think everybody should be allowed to be who they are, and to love who they love. I don't think we should be judgmental. Lord, I've got enough problems of my own to pass judgment on somebody else."
