I would like to extend my appreciation to everyone who participated in the Gold King Mansion Graffiti Cleanup. Your time, effort and commitment to preserving and restoring this iconic landmark are greatly appreciated and something I was proud to be involved with.
This cleanup was a true success thanks to the collaboration between the Bureau of Land Management - Arizona and several of our local off-road groups and clubs - Walapai 4 Wheelers, Sunshine Off-Road, Bullhead 4-Wheelers, Desert Drifters and Local Jeepers. We also need to acknowledge and appreciate the support from the owners of two Kingman businesses - Ryan McAlear of Automotive Specialists and Chris Vest of Stockton Hill Tire.
Special recognition also needs to go to Matt Driscoll, BLM Outdoor Recreation Planner, and Carrie Wostal, BLM Colorado River District Law Enforcement Ranger, for their involvement and continued support throughout the effort.
