Yesterday I cracked a milkweed pod a hair too early. By morning, the wind had emptied the rest for me. There’s a tiny window no one mentions. If you want monarchs next summer, there are two quiet mistakes most folks make with milkweed — one out in the patch, one in the fridge. Fix those and the caterpillars tend to find you. She may not have won the big title, but she used her platform to promote agriculture and ag education. And that is very cool.

Congratulations Olivia and thanks for representing and shining a positive light on Ag Ed!
