If you're in Missoula, join us for First Friday on June 5! Stop by Camp Māk-A-Dream's First Friday Parklet on North Higgins, just outside Break Espresso, from 5:00–8:00 p.m.

A big part of every Camp Māk-A-Dream experience is spending time in Montana's beautiful outdoors, and we're excited to bring a little of that spirit to downtown Missoula. We'll be creating a welcoming community space with seating, information about our programs for people impacted by cancer. We will also be on site with details about the 25th and final RATPOD cycling event.

Bringing your bike downtown? We'll also be offering free air, chain oil, and minor bike adjustments to help keep you rolling. Whether you're exploring First Friday, passing by on a commute home, or out for a ride your bike, we'd love to see you!

We're grateful to Missoula in Motion and the Missoula Parking Commission for supporting the parklet program and creating opportunities for organizations like Camp Māk-A-Dream to connect with our community in new ways.

With 87 beautiful acres of ranchland surrounded by the Flint and Pintler mountains, Camp quickly becomes an unforgettable place for the program participants who travel here for a life-changing Montana experience.

We’d like to reintroduce Jennifer Benton! Jennifer first volunteered with Camp Māk-A-Dream in 1995 and joined the staff full-time the following year. Since then, she has been a constant presence at Camp in various roles, helping shape thousands of meaningful experiences. Currently, she serves as Camp Director for Adult Retreats. She also serves as Director of RATPOD and has supported its growth over time. This year marks its 25th and final year as Camp’s largest annual fundraising event.

"Since first volunteering, then joining the staff in 1995, I’ve been fortunate enough to witness countless milestones and special moments here at Camp… I feel fortunate to play some small part in helping those who come to Camp make memories, build confidence, and form lifelong friendships."

Outside of Camp, Jennifer serves on the Board of Directors for the Children’s Oncology Camping Association (COCA) International and has been involved with other nonprofit organizations throughout Montana. She loves all things Camp and, outside of work, enjoys time outdoors with her husband and two black labs. We are grateful for the warmth, connection, and care she brings to our organization. Join us in thanking Jennifer for her many years of dedication, passion, and energy! 💙💚

Camp’s blue bus is iconic and has been a symbol of our journey for decades. Whether greeting campers at the Missoula Airport or rolling along the highway on the 65-mile trek to our campus in Gold Creek, it stands for something special—an opportunity to become part of a community where no one fights cancer alone.

This year, we’re naming the bus to celebrate recent upgrades, including a new air conditioning system and a fresh coat of paint featuring our campers’ artwork, thanks to long-time supporters at The Doyle Foundation!
