Initial funding to upgrade Kings Ranch Road and bring it up to County standards was originally scheduled for 2025. The current draft Transportation Plan is delaying it to 2029.

Kings Ranch Road is, in effect, Gold Canyon’s “main” street. All of our houses of worship are located along this street, along with medical, cultural, and service businesses, as well as restaurants.

If you feel this major transportation artery of Gold Canyon deserves a higher priority, please provide your comments here - https://www.pinal.gov/1394/Draft-TIMP-Plan

Arizona homeowners have leaned on oleander for privacy for ages, but having a plant that poses a risk to your pets and kids is a major downside. While it grows fast, the safety concerns are finally pushing it out of fashion. The great news is that native plants are stepping up to fill the gap.

Slow, steady, and built for the desert 🐢🌵
This World Turtle Day, we’re celebrating the incredible Desert Tortoise—a true survivor of the Sonoran Desert. These gentle reptiles can spend up to 95% of their lives in burrows to beat the heat and conserve water.

Let’s do our part to protect them: stay on trails, never disturb wildlife, and keep their desert home thriving.
