Girls Matter Period provided kits to Kenya through Laura, founder of Life Together Alliance, in 2025. In 2026 our volunteers will be providing another 200 kits to this group in Kenya. To add more excitement, they started Dignity Sewing Center and have taught the girls to sew GMP Packs AND now clothing. Dignity Sewing Center makes a big difference in the lives of these girls and those around them. We at GMP are pleased to support this group whenever possible.

Our Girls Empowerment Program has a significant impact on each one of the girls that receive a kit!
The Lutheran Church of Hope mission team helped us distribute over 150 rewashable, reusable kits to girls in need!

International Menstural Hygeine Day

We’re thrilled to share that Blessman International has distributed over 25,000 reusable, rewashable menstrual hygiene kits to girls in need since the program's inception in 2014, giving them not just products but power, confidence, and the freedom to go to school with dignity and finish their education.

Periods should never be a barrier to education, health, or self-worth. ❤️

Paula and team are having an amazing outreach in Limpopo! Their week has been filled with distribution of 2,000 Period kits, an eyeglass distribution, helping at Del Cramer Center with the after school program and many more outreach opportunities. What a life changing opportunity for all involved!

415 girls served by our team in South Africa on Monday! They also distributed 46 pairs of eyeglasses, helped serve dinner after school and danced with the children. A very full day!

During the past week we have received 1500 liners, 200 bases and 80 cinch sacks in Gold Canyon from workshop completions and home sewists! Wow!! Thank you volunteers! These components will give us the last 100 kits that have been committed to a Kenya outreach group leaving Idaho in August. The education and kits will be received by girls at a school they are serving. What a life changing blessing for these girls. ❤️❤️

325 kits packed in Minnesota last week will be headed to Limpopo, South Africa on May 8th. Thank you Minnesota volunteers for your diligence over the past few months! 325 girls will receive your life changing kits within a month! ❤️❤️

We're excited to bring 1250 high-quality Girls Matter Period kits with us to Limpopo when our US team travels there May 8.
Together with the GMP kits already there (made by Lethabo Sewing Centre and by teams in Iowa), there will be plenty to serve over 2000 girls & women during our outreach trip!

Love to see groups who are sewing Girls Matter Period patterns to help girls stay in school and get their education. GMP will be sending 200 kits to a Kenya school in August!

A group of women from 5 different churches come together on the second Monday of the month to sew Feminine Hygiene Dignity Kits for young women in South Africa, giving the girls protection so they can attend school.
