06/14/2026 - Kits Delivered to International Children’s Fund

We have exciting news to share! Sue and Brian Carlson recently delivered our first 600 kits (300 assembled in Arizona and 300 assembled in Minnesota) to International Children's Fund (ICF) in Neenah, Wisconsin. ICF will take responsibility for shipping these kits to Africa and Pakistan, where they will be distributed through their network of indigenous pastors serving rural villages.

Each shipping bag included menstrual health kits, a variety of panty sizes, and educational materials that local trainers will use to teach girls about menstrual health and the proper use and care of their kits.

Thank you to all of you who helped make the ICF shipment and the kits for the Limpopo trip possible. Your time, talents, and generosity are making a real difference in the lives of girls around the world!

Laura Kelley began her journey to help girls in Kenya by distributing 200 Girls Matter Period kits and education during August 2025. In a few short months, she has established Life Together Alliance to help the people in Kenya in multiple ways. She began by establishing a sewing center and hiring a tailor to teach girls to sew Girls Matter Period components. In a short time, her efforts have also blossomed into the girls being taught how to sew clothes. Check out this news clip from a local station in her hometown in Idaho. Bravo Laura!

The Life Together Alliance is collecting feminine hygiene products, fabric, and underwear to send to girls in Kenya. They focus on 3 goals: Sustainable food solutions, reusable feminine hygiene kits, and practical skills training, such as sewing.

Girls Matter Period provided kits to Kenya through Laura, founder of Life Together Alliance, in 2025. In 2026 our volunteers will be providing another 200 kits to this group in Kenya. To add more excitement, they started Dignity Sewing Center and have taught the girls to sew GMP Packs AND now clothing. Dignity Sewing Center makes a big difference in the lives of these girls and those around them. We at GMP are pleased to support this group whenever possible.
