Please private message our page if you are interested in becoming a board member for the upcoming 2026-2027 season.

The current board will vote on the individuals that are interested.

We will have a need for a few new members as several current board members will be transitioning off the board for next year.

As a reminder, this would be a volunteer position. We are looking for individuals that want to be a part of their community and help grow the youth basketball program in Godley.

Congrats to all our 1st and 2nd place teams for the 2025-2026 season!!

We had excitement in the 1st/2nd grade girls division as they went into double overtime today during the championship game. 🏀🙂🏀

Proud of all these kids as there was lots of hustle out there, positive attitudes, and good sportsmanship on that court during the tournament. 🙂

Congrats to our first place Kindergarten team!!

Also, our first round of tournament play was last night (2/4) for the 5/6 girls division. Congratulations to our 1st and 2nd place teams on a successfull season! 🏀🙂🏀

Hello parents,

I just wanted to send out a quick message. The board is looking at all options currently and working through a solution for what will happen with this weeks games.

Please note, there will be shifts in the schedule and the possibility of a few games being played on a Wednesday or Thursday night.

Please be patient with us as we work through this all. We will communicate all updates to your coaches, so be on the lookout as they are announced from them.

There will be no games 1/24/26 due to the incoming weather.

The games will not be made up. We will see everyone back on the court on 1/31/26.🙂

We are aware of the potential weather coming in this weekend. The association will make a decision on Friday whether we will be playing Saturday’s games.

Parents and families,

GYBA recognition night will be this upcoming Friday, January 16th at the High School Arena.

Players can wear a jersey to get in for free.

We are looking forward to seeing all our future Wildcats and Ladycats supporting our Varsity teams.😬

Huge shoutout to Allen Irvin and Dokir Construction for donating and making these 4 goal hand cranks for the GYBA.

If you see him around, please shake his hand and tell him thank you!!😊 He constantly goes above and beyond for our youth and the association.

We are lucky to have you volunteering your time to not only coach, but also willing to help out with equipment needs for a successful 25/26 basketball 🏀 season. 🙂

Greetings,

Coaches will establish communication this week. The first week of practice is scheduled for November 17.

Important dates to keep in mind are:
November 17-21 - start of practices;
November 24-28 - break for Thanksgiving-no practices;
December 1-12 - practices resume; and
December 15 to January 2 - Christmas break with no practices.

Our first game will be December 6. The schedule should be posted this week. An announcement will be made on our page once ready.

*** Reminder that the 25/26 Player Evaluations will be held on Sunday, November 2nd at Pleasant View Elementary (7800 Silo Mills, Parkway, Joshua, TX 76058, enter through Door #2)***

***Kindergarten does not require evaluations.***

Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time slot, so we can ensure we are staying on time with evaluations .

Please see the following time slots for your child’s age group:

2:00 PM-2:30 PM- 1/2 girls
2:30 PM-3:00 PM- 1/2 boys
3:00 PM-3:30 PM- 3/4 girls
3:30 PM-4:00 PM-3/4 boys
4:00 PM-4:30 PM-5/6 girls
4:30 PM-5:00 PM-5/6 boys

**if you are unable to make your designated evaluation time slot for your player, they still will be placed on a team when the coaches draft is completed.***
