This summer, instead of sleeping in, Melody (10) and Kaylee (11) spent their time interviewing faith leaders, food banks, and community organizations to learn about hunger in Wichita.

Now they're turning that learning into action.

On September 7, they'll host Food for Friends, a free community event featuring a spaghetti dinner, resource guides, a community quilt, and the giveaway of their children's book, First Time Fears.

We're currently raising funds to help serve 250 meals and bring this project to life.

Every donation makes a difference. ❤️
