Gobles Football wants to recognize our officiating crew from last night. They put together one of the best officiating experiences we have had.

Their work included…

-Communciation months in advance of the game
-Showing up 4 hours in advance to watch film and prepare for the game
-An excellent ceremonial coin toss honoring Ian Weston
-Using mics to communicate with the entire stadium about calls
-Utmost professionalism and clarity in contest management

Hats off to a talented and athletic Hartford squad. We are proud of our kids and how hard they continue to play.

TONIGHT: FIFTH ANNUAL TIGER TRIBUTE GAME

Join us as Gobles Football honors the veterans, active-duty military members, and first responders who have served and sacrificed for our community and country.

This year’s Gobles Honorary Captain is Lieutenant Commander Ian Weston, a 2010 Gobles High School graduate. Ian graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2014 and earned his Wings of Gold as a Naval Aviator in 2016. During his distinguished Navy career, he has accumulated more than 2,100 flight hours, including 45 combat flight hours, and has deployed throughout the world aboard five different U.S. Navy ships. His decorations include three Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals and two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals.

Tonight’s highlights include:

🚁 **Approx 5:30-5:45 p.m.** – Memorial MedFlight helicopter lands at the Gobles Football practice fields
🇺🇸 **5:45 p.m.** – Parade participants lined up across from Healy’s Hardware
🚓 **6:00 p.m.** – Military and First Responder Appreciation Parade through town (Homecoming Route)
🪙 **6:30 p.m.** – Ceremonial coin toss
🎶 **Pregame** – Special performances by the Gobles band and MS/HS choir
🏈 **7:00 p.m.** – Gobles vs. Hartford kickoff

We especially encourage all veterans, active-duty military members, and first responders to attend so our players, schools, and community can recognize you during the pregame ceremonies.

Please arrive early, enjoy the displays and activities, and help us fill the stadium for this meaningful Gobles tradition!

From our youngest flag football players to our varsity Tigers.

This is Gobles Football.

Different ages. Different teams. Different stages of the journey. But we all wear GOBLES across our chest, and we are all part of something bigger than ourselves.

This picture represents what we are working to build: a football program that is strong, connected, unified, and growing from the ground up. Our varsity players were once the little Tigers sitting in the front row. Someday, those young players will be the ones leading the next generation.

Thank you to every player, coach, parent, volunteer, and community member who continues to invest in our kids and our program.

🚁 TIGER TRIBUTE FLYOVER! 🇺🇸

We’re excited to announce a special addition to this year’s Tiger Tribute Game!

With our traditional airplane unavailable this year, Beacon Health System’s Memorial MedFlight helicopter will be joining us for a special pregame flyover! 🚁

Memorial MedFlight serves our region by providing critical air medical transportation when every second matters, and we’re honored to have them be part of a night dedicated to recognizing our military members, veterans, first responders, and community heroes.

Make sure you’re in your seats early to enjoy the pre-game ceremonies.

🇺🇸 TIGER TRIBUTE – WE WANT YOU TO BE PART OF IT! 🇺🇸

This Thursday, September 3, Gobles Football will host our annual Tiger Tribute Game, honoring the veterans, active-duty military members, first responders, and organizations who serve our country and communities.

🚓🚒 Veterans, military personnel, police, fire, EMS, motorcycles, classic cars, and other patriotic vehicles are invited to participate in our Tiger Tribute Parade!

Parade Details:
📍 Line up by 5:45 PM across from Healy’s Hardware in Gobles
🇺🇸 Parade begins at 6:00 PM and travels through town to the football stadium
🏈 Gobles vs. Hartford — Kickoff at 7:00 PM

Veterans, military members, and first responders will also be recognized on the field during our special pregame ceremony.

We would love to have a huge showing from our community to help us honor these incredible men and women. Please share this post and help us spread the word!
