This meeting will be hosted at the Emory Grove Hotel and we will be having special guest speaker Nan Kaestner with us to talk about Historic Glyndon’s big upcoming event: “Doorways to the Past” - Home & Garden Tour.

We will also be discussing our community’s exciting upcoming events for the whole year.
We welcome all neighbors to come mingle, enjoy a cookie, and bring any exciting news to share, or questions/concerns they have to discuss.

It’s time for some Spring cleaning! The GCA will be hosting a community wide YARD SALE on Saturday, May 16 from 8am-2pm. We’ll release a map of homes participating so you can plan as the date approaches! If you live in 21071 and want to participate, please DM or email us at [email protected]

A new year is upon us and it’s time to join Glyndon community Association! The first quarterly meeting is scheduled for 2/24 at 7pm in Dew Hall. We hope you’ll join us!

Dues for 2026 are $35 per household or $50 for business. You can also pay ahead through Venmo () or with a check or cash. GCA PO Box 86 and checks can be made payable to Glyndon Community Association. Your membership is valued and allows us to do so many wonderful things for our neighborhood. Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the first Annual Glyndon Community Association Lights and Display Contest, whether you decorated or took the time to vote, we appreciate the wonderful community spirit in this tight-knit neighborhood. The WINNERS for each category are…🥁

Best Overall: 200 Central
Earning the total most votes and some in every category, 200 Central shows off excellence in decoration to earn the Best Overall title! Oversized colorful ornaments, clever yard displays, and candy cane trees are just some of the charm these decorations bring to the season. It’s classic, festive, and fun, sparking joy for everyone!

Most Creative: 2 Albright Ave
All aboard! Long-time Glyndon residents share their love of train displays with the entire neighborhood every Christmas season. When cars stop to appreciate 2 Albright Ave, they’re surprised when Santa addresses them all the way from the North Pole! The train cars and little cardboard town of Glyndon also have a little trick or two up their sleeves…this creative display is a town favorite!

Most Colorful: 342 Central
A festive and multi-colored explosion at 342 Central earned this house the “Most Colorful” win. It started out with a few strands of colored lights that eventually tripled in number, running all the way up the front yard flag pole! You can’t miss it!

Most Classic: 12 Chatsworth
In a row of classic Glyndon homes, 12 Chatsworth is nestled near the end. It’s cozy with warm white lights and candle-lit windows adorned with wreaths and red bows. A Radio Flyer sled with vintage skates and traditional white pine garland decorate the porch as a spotlight highlights it all.

And a few honorable mentions that didn’t earn enough votes to win, but are still impressive: 2 Waugh Ave, 10 Waugh Ave and 47 Railroad.

Announcing the first Glyndon Community Association Lights and Display Contest! We need your help to choose the winners! Take a stroll or drive around the neighborhood and send us the addresses of your favorite homes for Most Creative, Most Colorful, Most Classic, and Best Overall! To submit your votes, please email them to [email protected] or DM our social media accounts. Winners will be announced the week of Christmas with a yard sign to celebrate! We look forward to everyone’s participation! 🎄✨❄️

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Two community organizations overlapped to kickoff the festivities for this special time in Glyndon! The Historic Glyndon, Inc (HGI) hosted their annual Holiday Open House on Sunday afternoon before members of the community gathered in the park for the annual GCA Tree Lighting. Everyone sang carols while enjoying hot cocoa, cookies, and visit from the Jolly Old Soul himself! The night ended with the tradition of singing the Twelve Days of Christmas as a neighborhood🎅🏼🎄Here’s to December! We hope you’ll visit 21071 for some holiday shopping this season and enjoy driving through the neighborhood to see everyone’s merry and bright decorations as well 🥰🕯️❄️
