Hello, Friends and Family of the Glyndon Area Players!
As many of you know, we spent our first 27 seasons performing at the Sacred Heart School of Glyndon. That run ended last year, when we moved to the beautiful Alumni Hall at McDaniel College. McDaniel has decided to take this summer to renovate Alumni Hall, which makes it impossible for us to return there this summer.
After much searching, we thought we had landed on a location to perform, and after getting approval from Carroll County, announced that location for our summer show. Some of you may have noticed that announcement post disappeared a few weeks ago, as the approval was rescinded after the school checked their final schedule for the summer, which launched us into another round of searching for a location to stage this incredible performance of Frozen that we are planning.
We are ECSTATIC to announce that we have finally locked down a performance venue for the summer. Our Summer 2026 performances of Frozen: The Broadway Musical will be gracing the beautiful stage at Francis Scott Key High School in Union Bridge, Maryland!
It's not Sacred Heart or McDaniel, but we promise you will not be disappointed in joining us at FSK High School. Frozen is truly a beautiful show with an amazing message of love and redemption. We can't wait to share the "magic" of live theater as only The Glyndon Area Players know how to create. Invite your friends and family and make it a memorable outing. Maybe by then, it will be warmer and we can then comfortably ask, "Do you want to build a snowman?"
