Today, we kicked off our celebration of 154 incredible employees who have reached service milestones ranging from 1 to 40 years during the first half of 2026. By year’s end, more than 300 employees will have achieved significant service anniversaries with The Arc Lexington.

Every honoree has helped shape Lexington’s story. Whether providing direct support or working behind the scenes, each team member plays an essential role in transforming lives every day. Their dedication helps create an environment where people feel safe, respected, valued, and loved. They have celebrated successes alongside the people we support, helped them overcome challenges, and empowered them to achieve their goals.

Lexington is deeply grateful for the compassion, commitment, and heart our employees bring to their work each day. Their efforts strengthen our mission, enrich our community, and make a lasting difference in the lives of so many. Over the next week, we proudly recognize and celebrate their remarkable contributions.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Lexington Golf Tournament on Friday at Hales Mills Country Club. 🏌️‍♂️⛳️

Golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters came together for a day of friendly competition, community spirit, and fun in support of The Arc Lexington's mission of creating opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

From the first tee shot to the final putt, the day was filled with great camaraderie, beautiful weather, and a shared commitment to making a difference. Events like this would not be possible without the generosity of our sponsors and the dedication of everyone who helped make the tournament a success.

A special thank you to: NFP, Builders FirstSource, Andersen Windows + Doors, Hill & Markes, OneGroup Insurance, Nunns, Ron Allen Trucking, Miracle Ear, Steet Toyota, Dans Porch Bar and Grill, US Foods, Emerson Oil, Runnings, Ace Hardware and Ruby and Quiri.

Thank you for helping drive our mission forward. We are grateful for your support and look forward to seeing you on the course again next year!

🎉 Congratulations to Dr. Priya Winston, Transitions' Director of Curriculum and Clinical Excellence, on graduating from the Leadership Capital Region program through the Capital Region Chamber!

Over the past nine months, Priya joined 44 professionals from across the Capital Region in an intensive leadership development experience focused on strengthening leadership skills, exploring community challenges, and collaborating on projects that make a lasting impact. One such project included the rehabilitation of Sojourn House in Schenectady, helping to create a more welcoming environment for individuals and families in need.

As a leader at The Arc Lexington's Transitions program, Priya's commitment to learning, collaboration, and community engagement helps strengthen our organization and expand opportunities for the people we support. The insights, relationships, and experiences gained through this program will continue to benefit our mission for years to come.

We are incredibly proud of Priya's dedication to professional growth and her passion for creating positive change throughout our community. Please join us in congratulating her on this outstanding achievement! 👏

Learning, Connecting, and Staying Safe! 💪🛡🤝

In June, The Arc Lexington is hosting Safety & Wellness Expos for our employees and the people we support, providing valuable resources, information, and hands-on learning opportunities that promote healthy, safe, and fulfilling lives.

We kicked off this year's series at our Schoharie site, where attendees connected with local experts and community organizations to learn about topics including health and wellness, fire safety, nutrition, insurance benefits, and personal safety.
These events are a great opportunity to strengthen our commitment to wellness while connecting people with resources that support them both at work and in their everyday lives.

A sincere thank you to our community partners for helping make the day informative, engaging, and impactful:
• OneGroup Insurance
• NFP, an Aon company
• CDPHP
• Stewart's Shops
• SUNY Fulton-Montgomery Community College (FMCC)
• New York State Police
• Schoharie County Office for the Aging
• Lexington OT/PT and Nursing Teams
• Lexington Safety Team & Recruitment Teams
And more!
