It was a celebratory and poignant morning at our Annual Award Breakfast on Tuesday, with the award newly named after our beloved late State Representative Ann Margaret Ferrante. Our 2026 honoree Sal Zerilli offered these words while accepting this honor: "...This award makes me feel like I matter. Like the work I've done is significant. Like people noticed. Like my presence in our community has made a difference. That feeling is powerful. It does not feel extra. It seems to me a condition for humanity..."
