We strive to make sure everyone who comes aboard the Solace has a relaxing, rejuvenating, and amazing time. We want them to forget all their worries and pains on shore and enjoy the beauty of the water while harnessing the healing powers of wind💨, water💦, and sail⛵!

Few things in this world mean more than those we love who love us back and stand by us in difficult times. This group of friends was such a blessing to have aboard. They were so kind and loving and supportive. We are so grateful to have given Pamela and her loved ones some relaxing time on the water.

In some way it is an indescribable form of extreme tranquility that gives you exactly what you need, when you need it. After sailing on the Solace, I enjoyed that rejuvenating feeling and feel ready to return to the challenges that a full and invigorating post-cancer life can and will bring. I am grateful to friends, family, professionals, and complete strangers as volunteers who only have an agenda to make you smile and enjoy this wonderful feeling. The sea gave us QUITE a surprise on our sail! Miss. Genevieve and her family were able to sail beside dolphins which added to their dose of Vitamin Sea! It was Miss. Genevieve's first time on a boat and she had the best time!

"I LOVED it! The view was amazing and everyone was very nice! In retrospect, the thing I'll remember the most is just the peace I felt during the trip. It was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. The dolphins were amazing and they were right next to the boat! INCREDIBLE!"

🥹Thankful Thursday🥹

Today's sail was a very heartfelt one. We were able to celebrate the life of Jessica's dad, Jerry. His loved ones were able to have a relaxing sail with us and look back on their memories with him. Our main goal was to reflect, remember, and celebrate a life that continues to inspire those who loved and knew him.

🎂Testimonial Tuesday🎂

Every mission sail is important to us in its own way and this sail was extra special as those on board celebrated Ms. Arcelia's 76th birthday on her respite sail!! What a time we had celebrating with some pint-sized "Captains in training"... despite their stature, they were phenomenal sailors and prompted quite a few smiles!

😁Thankful Thursday😁

Being on the water is healing, calming, and relaxing in so many ways that many may not understand. But if you or someone you love is challenged by cancer, harnessing the healing powers of wind, water, and sail can do so much for the body and spirit. Even if you have never been on the water, this time with your loved ones is something wonderful.
