The incredible annual fundraiser hosted by our great friends and partners at Blown Away Salon is in full swing!

Come out today, August 8, from 12pm-4pm as their awesome stylists volunteer their time and offer $15 haircuts, $10 fairy hair, and $8 brow shaping to support Gloucester kids in need this holiday season!

Come out and see us! Great prices on haircuts by experienced stylists, a food truck, raffles, and so much more!

Thank you so very much to all of the fishermen, vendors, sponsors, and volunteers that made our 4th Annual Cobia Tournament a huge success yesterday!

We’ll have pictures from our friend Sara Harris Photography for everyone posted on our page in the near future, along with the winners and final results of how much money all of you helped to raise for Gloucester’s children and families who need the extra help.

This would not have been possible without all of you, and also without our good friends Bryce, Dakota, Josh, Addy, and the whole team at YROC Coastal Bar & Grill. You guys are incredible partners, and we are eternally grateful for all you do for our organization and our community.

Four people I want to extend personal thanks to are Jamie Williams, Kyrstin Shackelford, Jennifer Graham, and Dylan Moore.

Jamie works hard all year long on this event. Nights, weekends, and holidays, she goes above and beyond to make sure everything goes right for this and so many other events. I could not ask for a better Treasurer, Event Coordinator, or person to take care of so much and do it so well.

Kyrstin is the Vice President of Gloucester County Shop With a Cop. Yesterday, she served as the tournament director, with responsibility for…well, for everything. She is dependable, reliable, and does an excellent job making difficult decisions and making me feel comfortable that our major operations are in good hands when I’m unable to be there.

Jennifer has put so much time and energy into our program every year. This year, she coordinated all of the volunteers…dozens of them…and made sure we had the right people in the right places to pull this off to our high standards.

Finally, Dylan has, every year, organized, facilitated, and operated our incredible raffle at this tournament. The prizes he gets donated are top quality, and he spends a ton of his personal time making sure that everyone has some great options to pick from as they buy raffle tickets to support this tournament and the mission of our organization.

Great job by all, and thank you. I am very grateful and lucky to have you.

And the results are in! Congratulations to all of our winners! We would again like to thank YROC, our sponsors, anglers, vendors, all supporters, and volunteers!
