🚀 Youth Support Partner Training — March 2026!
The Office of Child & Family Services, in partnership with DBHDS, is hosting a virtual Youth Support Partner (YSP) training this March!
This training is for peers whose lived experience began in adolescence and occurred within the past 10 years, who want to work as Peer Recovery Specialists supporting youth and young adults.
👉 Must have completed the 72‑hour PRS training.
✔️ Limited to 12 participants
✔️ 7‑day training (attendance required)
✔️ Registration closes Feb 23, 2026

Join NAMI Virginia, Mental Health Virginia, Vocal Virginia, and Voices for Virginia's Children on Monday, January 26th from 8am - 11am for Mental Health Advocacy Day 2026! Address legislators with fellow mental health advocates to ensure our state budget and policies support mental health. We will host an in-person event and a virtual event taking place on the same day.
