Today is International Overdose Awareness Day.

For 25 years, this day has brought people together to remember those lost to overdose, support the families and communities affected, and strengthen efforts to prevent future deaths.

At NeedyMeds, we believe access to healthcare, treatment, medications, and trusted information can make a difference. No one should face barriers to getting the help they need.
This year’s theme, “25 Years On. Still Needed.”, is a reminder that behind every statistic is a person who was loved, valued, and mattered.

August is Psoriasis Action Month. More than 7.5 million U.S. adults live with psoriasis — and while today's treatments, especially biologics like Humira, Skyrizi, and Cosentyx, can be life-changing, they're also some of the most expensive medications on the market.

The good news: help exists. Manufacturer copay cards can bring costs down to as little as $0 per dose for eligible commercially insured patients. Bridge programs offer free medication while you wait on an insurance decision. And Patient Assistance Programs cover people who are uninsured or have limited income.
