Washington Township, we are absolutely blown away! 🧡 Just last week, over 100 incredible middle school students from our Interact clubs packed 260 Thanksgiving baskets, feeding more than 1,140 local residents through the "Gobble Up Hunger" drive. Our hearts are full seeing this community show up for each other. 🦃✨

But these amazing students aren't stopping there. They are already rolling right into their next big mission: The Power of Giving. 🎁🎄

What is it? "The Power of Giving" is a district-wide holiday drive where our community comes together to ensure every Washington Township child and family has a bright holiday season.

Who is involved? The Middle School Interact Clubs are leading the charge, with support from teachers, staff, and hopefully... YOU! It takes a village to make this magic happen.

HOW YOU CAN HELP RIGHT NOW! They need community members to step up and sponsor a child or a family.

Instead of a general wish list, this is a personal way to give. You will be provided with the specific wishes and needs of a local child. You shop for them, wrap the gifts, and help make their holiday wishes come true. 🎅🎁

⏳ DEADLINE & DETAILS: Because the holidays are rushing towards us, the deadline to sign up and drop off should be coming up! Do not wait!

Project Love by Gloucester County Community Church (GCCC) needs your help! This initiative is all about sponsoring a child in and around our community who could use a little extra help and magic this Christmas. They are so close to helping all of the kids in and around our community (Over 300).

By sponsoring a child, you are ensuring they receive gifts and experience the joy of the season.

Here’s how you can help:

-Sponsor a Child: Sign up to receive a child's name and wish list.
-Give a Gift: Gifts should be a minimum of $25 or more (or a combination of gifts)
-Gifts MUST BE DROPPED OFF by Sunday, December 7th! If you are having trouble dropping anything off please DM our page!

Let's rally together and share God's love by providing a memorable and joyful holiday for these local children!

HISTORY MADE! 🏆 Huge congratulations to Washington Township Football on completing a perfect 14-0 season and bringing home the Group 5 State Championship today at MetLife Stadium!
​Way to rally in the second half to beat Passaic Tech 31-12. The first state title in 30 years. Twp Pride is strong today! ❤️🤍💙

We hope today is filled with full bellies, loud laughs, and the people who make life a little brighter. Take the time to slow down, be together, and give thanks for all the good around us, big and small.

Still recovering from way too much fun (and too many hot dogs). 😅

The Way Too Wiffle Classic was everything we hoped for and more — a day full of community, laughs, and a whole lot of wiffle. Our bellies were stuffed thanks to Stoop Dogs, our hair sparkled with tinsel, and the energy never slowed down.

🌟 What. A. Day. 🌟

The 1st Annual Way Too Wiffle Classic was nothing short of phenomenal — and WOW did everyone come to play! 💪⚾️

After a full day of laughs, hits, and a whole lot of heart, it all came down to the finals: Way Too Beautiful vs. SLW Monkeys.

🔥 And after a battle for the ages, the SLW Monkeys came out on top — finishing the day a perfect 7-0 and claiming the first ever Way Too Wiffle Championship! 🏆🐒

👏 Huge congratulations to them, and an even bigger THANK YOU to every team, sponsor, volunteer, and supporter who made today unforgettable. Your energy and love for this community truly meant the world to us.

If you registered a team for the Way Too Wiffle Classic — congrats, you’re officially the captain (whether you claimed the title or not 😉).

📧 You’ll be getting an important email tonight with everything you need to know about the big day. If your captain hasn’t told you tonight… give ’em a nudge!

📣 REGISTRATION IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED! 📣

We are beyond excited to announce that 17 teams have signed up for the 1st Annual Way Too Wiffle Classic! 🥎🙌

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has donated, sponsored, or joined in to play — your support helps us make a real difference for our schools and, most importantly, the kids in our community. 💙

📅 The game schedule will be posted tomorrow so you’ll know who you’re playing and when. Everyone will start at 9

👀 Team Captains (AKA People who have registered their teams) — keep an eye on your email for important info you can share with your teammates.

⏰ Reminder: Games start at 9 AM sharp this Saturday! We recommend arriving by 8:30 AM to check in at the welcome tent. We’ll also go over the rules and answer any last-minute questions.

This is going to be a day full of laughs, friendly competition, and community spirit. We can’t wait to see everyone out there! 🎉
