V.U.R.T is a charitable arts organization based in New Jersey, focused on bringing inspirational mural art to local urban communities in the region.

V.U.R.T is dedicated to reclaiming the visual landscape of our urban areas with dynamic and vibrant public art. By utilizing reusable and recycled materials, we will give back to the community through green practices. With our professional design and mural painting experience we believe the work we do can enrich and inspire the masses. In an effort to collaborate with the community, together we will strive to bring color to the dreary and attention to the overlooked and forgotten. With nothing more than a little paint, we can make a huge difference in how a community can look, feel and thrive.

Hey, Bird Gang! First of all, a gigantic THANK YOU to everyone who has purchased a shirt so far! Dang, there are a lot of you, the Bird Gang is gonna be STRONG! Second, today is the last day to purchase from our pre-order (link in bio). We will make a few extra shirts to have on hand, but those will be limited. Please allow a few weeks (2-3) for these shirts to be made and shipped to you. We are working as fast as we can to get these shirts into your hands.

In the spirit of full disclosure and transparency, it looks like we will need to campaign through the winter to reach our fundraising goal for these murals. Once we tally the shirts, we will update with where we are in terms of progress towards our goal. We will keep the Give Butter Fundraiser open and we will also be offering a few, creative ways to support this project (think: exclusive print releases, tattoo flash, etc) over the next few months.

Your support means the world to us, and we will keep working towards the goal of bringing two new pigeon murals to this beloved city of ours. 🩶🐦

Ok, Bird Gang, let’s bring the pigeon back!
Our mission at VURT Creative has always been to beautify and transform public spaces through the power of art. What once was a large pigeon mural on Front Street is now merely a small, cheeky remnant of the Prince of Front Street’s former glory. So, with your help, we are striving to bring back not one, but TWO pigeon murals to Philadelphia (one in Graduate Hospital and another in Fishtown).
This is the part where we humbly ask for your help.
There are two ways to help us bring these murals to life:
🐦 Donate directly to our GiveButter fundraising campaign
🐦 Purchase a Bird Gang Tshirt (designed by muralist Evan Lovett, the artist who brought us the original pigeon mural, “The Prince of Front Street”)

All proceeds from the donation page and T-shirt sales go towards bringing these murals to fruition. The links to both of these are in the linktree in our bio.

We thank you for your support on this project and can’t wait to update you with future developments. We couldn’t do this without you. Go birds (especially pigeons)!

It’s been long enough: let’s BRING THE PIGEON BACK!

We are launching a campaign to bring the beloved Prince of Front Street mural back to life (at a new location), and we need your help! The first step is to secure a new wall for the revamped Pigeon mural. We are looking for a 2-3 story wall in the Philadelphia area, preferably with no or minimal windows/obstructions. Do you have or know of a wall that could work? DM us or Hit us up at [email protected]. Please be sure to send photos and an address for your location.

Together we can bring this beloved mural back to life!
