⚠️ UPDATE: The majority of the state has now been upgraded to a Level 3 'Enhanced' risk for Thursday's potential severe weather event. The main threats will be damaging wind and tornadoes, some of which could possibly be strong.

Tornado Warning including southeastern Wilkinson County and southwestern Amite County until 3:45 PM.

SEVERE UPDATE ⚠️: The Level 3 “Enhanced” severe risk has been expanded to include the Mississippi Coast. This is a tornado driven upgrade. The rest of us remain under the same threat, Level 2 for south MS, and Level 1 in Jackson. Storms likely from 2 PM - 9 PM with damaging winds the main threat. Stay tuned for updates this afternoon. HEADS UP SOUTH MS: Later this afternoon through the evening there will be the chance for severe storms mainly south of I-20. Main threats will be damaging wind, hail and possible tornadoes.

Please make sure you have multiple ways to receive warnings as we head in the afternoon!
