💜 Sometimes things have a funny way of working out exactly the way they’re supposed to. 💜
When we first found out the sidewalk in front of Kismet Kloset was going to be torn up, we were honestly upset and nervous. We worried about whether customers would still be able to get to us, whether business would slow down, and what the construction might mean for our little store.
But instead of letting it get us down, we decided to make the best of it. We looked for the bright side, planned some fun indoor sales, kept inviting everyone to come shop, and tried to turn an inconvenience into something positive.
Wouldn’t you know it really did make the whole construction process so much easier. 💜
We were also incredibly fortunate to have awesome contractors who worked with us every step of the way. They kept a path open to our door until the very last minute and completed the final work while we were closed, which meant we never had to interrupt our normal business hours. We are so grateful for the care they took to make sure our customers could still reach us!
Now we get to look outside and enjoy a beautiful, fresh new sidewalk in front of Kismet Kloset, and we couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out. ✨
The word Kismet means fate or destiny — something that was simply meant to be. This feels like one of those little reminders that even when something starts out stressful or uncertain, sometimes it all comes together exactly the way it’s supposed to.
Thank you to everyone who continued to stop in, shop, support us, and laugh along with us through the construction. We appreciate this community more than you know. 💜
