Copper Cities Community Players

Pure human creativity without a single token of AI. Not just shadow puppetry, but incredible rhythm and choreography.

Is shadow puppetry a lost art? Not in the “hands” of this performing artist.

“The Copper Cities Community Players held our annual auditions for the upcoming year, and wow, what a turnout! The room was absolutely PACKED with prospective singers, actors, dancers, and performers of ALL kinds! 🎙️💃🤹‍♂️

Nearly everyone pictured here came out to audition and the support in the room was amazing. Everyone cheered on those who took the stage to read, sing, and even juggle! 👏🔥”

The Christmas Mixer is Thursday, December 18 from 6 - 8pm and open to everyone. You're invited!

The Annual Christmas Mixer at Cobre Valley Center for the Arts is an annual event with music, libations-of-the-season, and the perfect chance to socialize with business owners, friends, and neighbors.

Co-hosted with the Globe-Miami Chamber of Commerce, this holiday event will feature entertainment by members of the Globe Centennial Jazz Band and brass quintet.

There will also be a raffle and silent auction help support flood relief from our recent floods. Bid on a donated work of art or buy raffle tickets for gift baskets donated by the Center for the Arts.

This is also your chance to see and vote for your favorite tree in the Festival of Trees display inside the gallery.

Oh boy, this sure looks like fun. Great article.

Paper goes to press and will hit newsstands on Wednesday!

A good thing to keep in mind is "Submitting your news" and "Posting your event" via our website. Just wrapped up a productive meeting with someone who brought to my attention something with ramifications for local residents. We will be looking into it. We would like to hear from you.

And posting your events on our calendar puts you in front of thousands of readers who rely on GMT for news and event information.

Have a great Monday!
~Linda
