Thanks to Darrel Yerkovich, the 3D sculpture “We Choose What To Take With Us” is now glowing along the Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center Walking Path and Art Garden. This light-filled portal invites us to leave behind hate and step forward with love, gratitude, and courage. So proud of Darrel and his team for turning a ring of metal, concrete, and LEDs into a powerful reminder that we always have a choice in how we respond to the world. Love where you live—and what you carry with you. 💛 photo credit Debbie Yerkovich

This is what it looks like when community investment pays off. Two metal art students Amy Martinez and Chris Stuhmer, along with Instructor Stan Schepers, just installed their 3D works of art at the Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center walking path. Stan, your dedication to teaching the craft and leading by example makes all the difference. These metal bending artists are the real deal, and Superior keeps proving it has some of the coolest, most creative people around. 💛⚒️ A heartfelt thank you to Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center for championing public art and investing in our community.

One of four finalists for the Oonagh Award is Love Where You Live, led by founder Thea Wilshire and co-founder Regina Ortega.

Named for arts leader and philanthropist Oonagh Boppart, the Oonagh Award celebrates individuals or organizations that exemplify the power of innovative collaboration. Honorees bring together artistic disciplines, community partners, and cross-sector collaborators to create work that has meaningful, lasting impact.
