Halloween Fun in Miami SATURDAY!

Rock your costume one week early - Sullivan Street in Miami is "Bringing the Boo"
Saturday Oct. 25, starting at 2:00 with a Halloween fair inviting costumed kiddos and adults for live music, face (and pumpkin!) painting; activities, games & food trucks.

This pre-Halloween fair is a fundraiser for Miami's ongoing reconstruction following flood damage of the past month — good fun, for a good cause.
Then at 6pm is Miami's big annual FREE outdoor Halloween party at Veterans Park
Want to donate, or volunteer at the event? Donate unopened bags of candy at Miami's Senior Center, town hall or Police Department today, Friday, Oct. 24.

Saturday night's event starts at 6:00 - the town has arranged a traffic-free zone for safe trick-or-treating, and DJ Alexis Rivera will be dropping the beats (you may also know Alexis from his daytime as Miami's Town Manager!). Costume contest prizes will be awarded in categories for cute, scary, funny and creative.
Free food and drinks, too — while supplies last.

It's that time of year come to the Globe American Legion for the Friday fish fry March 7th.

Veterans Cafe at the Cobre Valley Recreational Center. Veterans shared stories and connected with fellow Veterans.

Rick Kreiberg, from Veterans Affinity, led discussions about staying connected, reaching out to other Veterans, and how we can better support remote Veterans. Veterans Affinity also sponsored an American Legion Post membership and presented shirts and Veteran caps to everyone in attendance.
