The GADC is organizing our Annual Community-Wide Garage Sale Weekend. This year we will be having it Friday and Saturday, June 19th and 20th, of Father's Day Weekend. We will not advertise for any garage sales on Sunday, as we do not want to take away from the Father's Day Auction at Marion Park.

GADC will publish your addresses and hours in the Glidden Enterprise and on our Social Media pages, any physical signs will be your own responsibility. Please let us know by Friday, June 5th if you would like to be included on our list, by messaging us on here or emailing us at [email protected]. Include your name, phone number, address of garage sale, and hours of those 2 days. There is no fee to be added to our list.

GADC will once again sponsor Gabe's Great American Games on the 4th of July this year. We will attempt to start the games about 20 minutes after the cardboard boat races conclude, we assume about 1:30 PM. Gabe's Games will run a bit shorter than last year, as we will then host a kickball tournament after they finish. Currently, Dead Squirrel is sponsoring and building a team and we are looking to add 2 or 3 more teams. Sponsorship fee is $50 and the payouts are $200 to first place and $100 to second place. There is no age limit to build your team, in which you will want a minimum of 10 players.
