What a great day at Ohwahnasee Distric Day Camp at Swan Lake today! Our scouts enjoyed fishing, archery, BB guns, learning how to filet a fish and worked on a service project of clearing brush around the lake.

Today, our scouts had the honor of helping out at the Memorial Day Service at Merle Hay Cemetery in Glidden. Our scouts greeted guests and carried chairs for attendees. It a wonderful way for them to learn the history of our town and honor those who have served while serving others at the same time!

Glidden-Ralston Pack 114 hosted its Blue & Gold Ceremony Thursday night, celebrating our Scouts’ achievements throughout the year, the awards they earned, and their advancement to the next rank for the coming year.

Of course, we wrapped up the evening with a potluck — because our Scouts always eat good! And a song, because after all that celebrating, we definitely had the “Cub Scout Spirit” all over us! 💙💛

Congratulations to all of our Scouts!

And to our Glidden-Ralston community — thank you for supporting Pack 114 throughout the year. Whether you attended events, donated, volunteered, encouraged our Scouts, or simply cheered them on, your support helps make these experiences possible and means so much to our Pack families.

Thank you Glidden!!!! With your help, our scouts were able to collect 600 pounds of food on Saturday for our annual Scouting 4 Food drive! We stocked the shelves and the little pantry by Glidden Grocery. The rest of the food was given to the City of Glidden to be used to restock the shelves as needed. We couldn't have done it without you!

We will be collecting food donations tomorrow, Saturday, April 18 for our Scouting for Food drive!

Please have all non-perishable food items in a grocery sack or box on your front porch by 8am. Our scouts will be by to pick them up shortly after.

Thank you in advance for helping our scouts learn the importance of community service and generosity!

Yesterday, Sunday, February 15, was a big day for Pack 114 — twice the milestones, twice the pride.

First, we officially crossed over six of our Arrow of Light Scouts from the Pack to the Troop in a meaningful Crossover Ceremony. The Scouting trail is one of steady steps, strong character, and service to others. These Scouts have learned to lead, to help first, and to leave every campsite better than they found it. As they continue their journey, may their knots stay tight, their compass stay true, and their courage grow with every new adventure. We hope we’ve prepared them well — and we can’t wait to see where the trail takes them next.

We also gathered for our annual Scout Sunday Service with our wonderful host organization, Glidden Presbyterian Church. After worship, Pack 114 invited parishioners to join us for a potluck hosted by our Scout families. Scouts, families, and church members shared great food and even better fellowship.

After all, a Scout is reverent — and community is at the heart of everything we do.

Congratulations to our AOL Scouts, and thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special. The adventure continues!

A few more photos from our camping trip: free time fun and our campfire program! The Scouts participated in a meaningful flag retirement ceremony at the conclusion, and of course, ended the night with s’mores around the fire.
