A very delayed welcome to sweet Stormy. 🤎🐄

Stormy came to us through our daughter’s teacher, which makes her story even more special. It also means she didn’t have to completely say goodbye to the person who loved and cared for her from the beginning—her original owner can still come visit, get some snuggles, and watch her settle into her new home. 🥹

Stormy was born during a storm in August 2025, which is how she earned her name. She had a rough start and ended up being bottle-fed when she was just a few days old. She almost didn’t make it, but this little girl proved just how strong she is. She stayed smaller than most of the other cows in her herd, but what she lacks in size, she definitely makes up for in sweetness. ❤️

She has been settling in beautifully and is already bonding with Cookie, her longhorn bestie, along with the rest of our crew. Seeing her comfortable, making friends, and soaking up all the attention has been the sweetest thing.

We are so happy you’re here, Stormy. 🐄⛈️🤎

Yesterday we lost one of the OG’s after her long battle with a disease that finally was too much for her. Dolly was our Merino sheep and was one of the first farm animals we ever got. After nearly 10 years of nothing but the joy she gave us she is eternally at peace. Words cannot describe the pain of losing her but we are comforted by knowing the life she had was a fun one for us and her. Dolly we will always be grateful for surprise babies that you gave us and for teaching us about farm life from the start. We love you Dolly and will never forget you.
