Richard Olson and our very own Assistant Director, Larry Larson, are two amazing people who were selected to play golf ⛳️ in this year's special Olympics USA GAMES.
The really cool 😎 part is this years special Olympics is being hosted in the Twin Cities.
We all know that the Special Olympics games encompass a wide variety of sporting events...
Butttttt....I do believe a great majority of the folks in this area are going to be focusing on the Special Olympics Golf ⛳️ games this year.
Let's do our best to cheer them on from our TV 📺 sets.
Locally Richard and Larry are members of Aktion Club, Daybreakers Kiwanis members, who knew that they would be chosen for this great honor.
I've been told there's going to be about 3000 athletes in these games, That's a lot of competition but I believe they're up to the challenge.
The opening ceremonies will be covered by ESPN and start at 5:30 Saturday June 20th so I'm told.

Well the time is fast
approaching,for all of the riders, friends, and family to come together for a very special and important day.
The riders and anyone else who wants to go on this final ride to take Craig Lestrud, to his final resting place at the Preston
Veterans Memorial cemetery.
The ceremony for Craig will start at 11A.M.
I'm told we are KSU at 9 A.M.
Friday June 12th.
Early arrival at the Glenville legion would be a good idea so we have an idea of how many are coming to pay respects to the LATE GREAT CRAIG LESTRUD friend, family member, and last but not least VETERAN.

Just a reminder that all are welcome to see Craig off to his next stop on his magnificent journey,motorcycles,cars,
Or buses.
Again 9A.M. KSU from Glenville American legion, with a ride to Preston to honor and place Craig in his final resting place with the 11A.M ceremony.
