Titan FC has officially launched to provide enhanced player development opportunities for Glenview residents. The program will include both boys and girls teams ages U8 through U11. “Titans FC will provide an opportunity for the children of Glenview to participate in a program that is all about player development. We have a unique curriculum, professional coaching, and access to outstanding facil
ities,” states Martin Duffy, Director of Coaching for Titans FC. Duffy has over 20 years coaching experience, is a former High School Varsity coach, holds several advanced coaching licenses, and has been president of Illinois Youth Soccer Academy for the past 15 years. The club’s primary outdoor fields will be in Glenview at the Loyola Academy complex conveniently located in the Glen. Titans FC will partner with FC United for its player development process and Titan FC will be the primary feeder club for Glenview residents who desire to participate in FC United for ages U13-U18. FC United is the leading competitive youth soccer club on the North Shore, participating in local, regional, national, and international tournaments. FC United partners closely with the Chicago fire to design and constantly improve its player development process, which will be used at Titans FC. “We are excited about the launch of Titans FC. We have a significant number of Glenview residents currently participating in FC United, and this program will provide a strengthened player development process for children ages U8-U11. The coaching and facilities are top-notch and we are delighted to have a strong partner in the Glenview community,” states Roy Wiggemansen, who leads FC United.
