The loss of a child reshapes every corner of life. Hearing directly from parents who’ve lost a child(ren) offers a window into the rawness of grief and the resilience that slowly emerges. We will discuss how the faith community can be more effective in ministering to those who have lost a child(ren).

Precious Gems Supportive Services

The mission of Precious Gems Supportive Services (PGSS) is to help children, teens and families who have experienced a loss through death, to move through the grief process by offering support, friendship and professional counseling as needed regardless of ability to pay. We provide information and education regarding grief and loss to help those in the community including teachers, friends and family to be supportive through the healing process. We focus on marginalized populations who usually do not seek bereavement/ grief support or counseling.
