Join the DBHIDS Engaging Males of Color initiative for “Laughing Through It,” a healing-centered, live comedy and conversation experience that blends the transformative power of laughter, storytelling, and culturally grounded dialogue to support the mental and emotional well-being of men and boys in Philadelphia.

For community members navigating generational trauma, systemic barriers, and unspoken grief, comedy becomes a powerful gateway to vulnerability, connection, and healing. The goal of the event is to uplift, destigmatize, and reclaim conversations around emotional and behavioral health through the universal language of humor — offering not just relief, but a sense of belonging, hope, and restoration.
