Tri-County Literacy Center

10/05/2026

Just a reminder that we have an in person tutor training starting this Wednesday, October 7, on the SUNY ADK Queensbury campus. The course will be held on the four Wednesdays in October from 6-8 pm. Our trainers will be Marilyn Bien and Nancy Mobley.

Even though the class is a beginner level, it is appropriate for any level tutor. The group will consist of those just starting off to individuals who are just looking for an opportunity to exchange ideas with fellow tutors.

To register, contact the SUNY ADK Continuing Education Department at 5118-743-2238 or email them at [email protected].

Please share with family and friends. We are in desperate need of tutors.

Thank you for your time and support.

Planning on doing some shopping this weekend? When placing orders online at Walmart, you can round up the total on your order, and those funds can be donated to Tri-County Literacy Center. What seems like a small amount quickly adds up.

Thank you to everyone who has chosen us in the past and to those who will be adding us.

Thank you to everyone who has donated. We are still in need of purple, blue and green highlighters for use by our GED students preparing to take their writing tests.

Donations can be left in the box outside our office in Crandall Library anytime that the library is open.

Thank you for your support. We could not do what we do without the help of our community.

Thank you to all our supporters. Your donations are a valuable asset to our organization.

The support has been incredible. Thank you.

We are still in need of TI30X calculators and large index cards. Items can be dropped off at our office in Crandall Library and if the office isn't open, there is a donation box outside our door where items can be left.

Thank you for helping us help our neighbors.

Donations can be dropped off at our Crandall Library office. If we aren't available, please leave the items in the donation box outside our door and thank you for all you do to help your neighbors.
