After many months of preparation, planning, and hard work, DK Community Contributions has officially been approved as a Hunger Relief Partner with the Food Bank of Wyoming.
This approval allows us to begin moving forward with our mission of helping address food insecurity in Glenrock and surrounding communities through a free-access food pantry focused on consistent, community-driven support.
Over the past several months, we have been preparing pantry and storage spaces, building partnerships, securing food sourcing connections, and laying the groundwork for long-term operation. What started as an idea has slowly grown into something real, and we are excited to finally begin taking the next steps forward.
Our goal has always been simple: help fill the gaps where help is needed most.
As we move into the next phase of the project, there will be many opportunities for the community to be part of what we are building together — whether through volunteer efforts, food drives, partnerships, donations, or simply helping spread awareness about the program and the resources that will be available.
We also look forward to coordinating with other local organizations, churches, businesses, and existing assistance programs to strengthen support for our community together.
More updates, pantry information, volunteer opportunities, and launch details will be shared soon as we complete onboarding and begin stocking shelves.
