My name is Sadie Van Nest, and it has truly been an honor serving as your Glennville Rodeo Princess this year. Representing in parades, grand entries, and rodeos has been such an amazing experience that I will never forget.

This title gave me opportunities to meet incredible people, make lifelong memories, and grow so much as a person. When I first started this journey, I was nervous and unsure of myself at times, but wearing this crown helped build my confidence and taught me to believe in myself both in and out of the arena. Early in my rein, I lost my best friend, my horse Carlos. My sash sisters were there for me and didn’t hesitate to comfort me, and gave me the most beautiful bouquet of flowers. They helped support me on the hardest day. Lilly, Camille, Rebel and (of course the best Queen coordinator ever), Abby; I will forever be grateful.

Thank you to my family, friends, the Greenhorn Mountain Veterans Association, and everyone who supported me throughout this year. Your encouragement meant everything to me.

Although my reign has come to an end, the memories, friendships and lessons I’ve gained will stay with me as I continue on to my next adventure.

Lilly here, your 2025 Miss Rodeo Glennville saying farewell and thank you for the last time! This year has truly been a journey for me, with so memories I will forever cherish. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to represent such an incredible rodeo and community. I am forever so grateful that I got to spend the year with my girls, Rebel, Sadie and Camille. These girls have taught me so much along the way! From traveling over 3,500 miles this year, to creating lasting relationships, I will forever be so thankful to have been able to represent the Glennville Rodeo.
The crown doesn’t define who you are, you define the crown.

i had SO much fun representing the Glennville Rodeo this year and making memories i’ll never forget. from all the rodeo weekends to meeting so many new friends, every second was so special to me.

don’t worry, this isn’t the last you all will see of me.. i’ll be back one day with even more jokes 🤭 and while i may outgrow my ornery little pony, there’s definitely bigger ones out there waiting for me.

Serving as Miss Glennville Rodeo Junior Queen has been one of the greatest honors and learning experiences of my life. I’m so thankful for this community, everyone who supported me along the way, and the memories I’ll carry forever. Passing the crown on to such an amazing young woman makes this bittersweet moment even more special. While this may be my first and only title, it will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you all for being part of this incredible journey.

Tonight’s speech and modeling went so well, and every girl did a truly incredible job, everyone left so impressed! They each also put a lot of thought into a silent auction item to benefit the Golden Circle of Champions, and raised $1,600 to benefit this year’s champions, Fabian and Melanie.
As a coordinator, I’m so proud of each of the girls competing this week for how much they’ve put into studying, practicing and becoming the best the can be as they vye for a Miss Rodeo Glennville title, and so grateful for the work they put into our silent auction. Being a rodeo queen is more than outfits and a horsemanship pattern, it’s walking the walk when it comes to supporting our community. We’re so grateful to everyone that attended our speech and modeling event and bid on our items, it’s so special seeing people come together for a few very good causes! - Abby
