Big news for small businesses! The SBA Boise District Office just launched the Patriot Pitch Competition, and there's $1 MILLION on the line.

In celebration of 250 years of American free enterprise, the U.S. Small Business Administration has opened applications for a national pitch competition open to eligible small businesses that have utilized qualifying SBA capital products.

Here's what you need to know:

💰 $1 million cash prize pool (funded by Clover Network)
📋 4 judging criteria: American competitiveness, industry innovation, economic opportunity & job creation, and ex*****on readiness
🏛️ Finals: Live pitch event in Washington, D.C. | September 2026

For decades, old mining operations left behind billions of tons of waste rock across the U.S. The critical minerals locked inside have gone untapped, while America has relied on foreign suppliers for more than half of what we need to make cell phones, EV batteries, semiconductors and fighter jets.

INL is changing that. 👏

Our experts have just published a groundbreaking new study showing that these long-abandoned mine tailings represent a massive, homegrown opportunity and that the technology to recover those minerals already exists. With the right policy support, the U.S. could significantly reduce its dependence on foreign suppliers and finally put these legacy sites to work.
