Ever felt like you were on the outside looking in?

Scripture keeps pointing to the ones who get overlooked: the fatherless, the widow, the foreigner, the lonely. And it says God moves toward them.

He is a father to the fatherless and sets the lonely in families (Psalm 68:5-6).
He defends the fatherless and the widow and loves the foreigner (Deuteronomy 10:18).
You were foreigners once too (Deuteronomy 10:19).
To all who received Him, He gave the right to become children of God (John 1:12).
Look after orphans and widows in their distress (James 1:27).

We were not made to do life alone.

Thank you for standing with us.

Last week's Stand Sunday Conference brought pastors, families and leaders together around one question: how can we stand with children and families who need it most? The honesty on that stage, the laughter, the hard stories and the hope will stay with us for a long time.

Thank you to every speaker, volunteer, host church and every person who showed up. You don't have to do everything. But every one of us can do something.

You're not alone. Jesus said, "I came down from heaven not to do my will, but to do the will of the Father" (John 6:38). Not everyone will clap when you stay true to what God called you to do. Heaven's applause is worth more.

Sunday was full. Worship that filled the room, hugs in the parking lot, old friends and new faces.

Thank you to everyone who came, served, sang, prayed, and made room for someone new. And thank you to Pastor Brad McDaniel and Harvest Family Life Hawaii for reminding us that God sets the lonely in families.
