The Society, Incorporated Supporting the Arts – Prince George’s County Chapter invites youth to join us for a Poetry Writing Workshop on Saturday, August 15 at the Hyattsville Library, located at 6530 Adelphi Road, Hyattsville, MD.

This event is free and open to the public. Space is limited, so please register early!

The Society, Incorporated, Prince George’s County Chapter proudly celebrates and congratulates Kameirah Johnson on her inspiring work, Hair Power: The Crown That Grows From Us.

Kameirah’s creative vision was inspired by the belief that our differences can be our greatest strengths. Through her work, she celebrates Black hair as a powerful expression of creativity, identity, culture, and self-love — imagining a world where hair becomes a superpower.
We are proud to recognize Kameirah’s talent, imagination, and voice as she uplifts the beauty and power of the crown that grows from us.

The The Society, Incorporated – Prince George’s County Chapter set the tone for the month with our inaugural Society Night at Arena Stage.

Bringing together all eight DMV chapters and friends of the Society, the evening featured the dynamic Chez Joey performance with Honorary Friend Myles Frost.

A powerful reminder of our commitment to supporting the arts while strengthening the bonds of fellowship across our region.

Love was in the air all month long for the The Society, Incorporated – Prince George’s County Chapter as we gathered for fun-filled I-Care bonding activities centered on fellowship and creativity.

From the elegance of our Art of Fellowship Dinner (March 6) to the vibrant energy of Thread & Sole (March 28), where we designed sneakers for our upcoming Art in the Park 5K, each moment reflected the beauty of sisterhood in action.

Together, we create, we connect, and we uplift.
