Good morning, families!

The Glenford Lions Club is looking for volunteers to help with the June Tractor Pull next Saturday (6/13), and we want to help spread the word!

The Lions Club generously allows Sheridan Youth Softball to use the concession stand during our season at no cost to the league. In return, they ask that we help fill volunteer spots during the Tractor Pulls.

There are only two pulls this year, and the first one is coming up next week. We’d love to see softball families show up strong and support the Lions Club the same way they support us!

Please take a look at the sign-up and help if you’re available. When signing up, please indicate “Softball.”

🥎 2026 STEP UP TO THE PLATE FUNDRAISER! 🥎

As we wrap up another great season, we want to thank our players, families, coaches, sponsors, and community for making this year possible!

Our STEP UP TO THE PLATE fundraiser helps us continue providing FREE softball opportunities for girls in our community while also supporting season operation costs and repairs and maintenance to our fields!

Every donation makes a difference and helps us keep building a place where our local girls can learn the game, grow as teammates, and make memories on the field.

As an added bonus, every player who raises $200 or more will be entered to win a $100 DICK'S Sporting Goods Gift Card! The winner will be announced at our end-of-season pool party on 6/24!

This weekend is postseason tournament weekend! 🥎

We’re excited to share the 8U and 10U brackets for this weekend’s tournament. We have not received the 12U bracket yet, but we anticipate their first games will be played on Friday.

Please take a look at the attached brackets and keep an eye out for any updates as we get closer to the weekend. Good luck to all of our teams! We can’t wait to see everyone finish the season strong!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and helped make our Opening Day Ceremony such a great success!

From our players and coaches to the parents, volunteers, and community members, it meant a lot to see the support for these girls and our program! Days like this don’t happen without a lot of people stepping up behind the scenes, and we’re grateful for every one of you.

We also had a great turnout for the Home Run Derby with 32 contestants stepping in and putting on a show. Congratulations to Sydney Catley (Kyle Catley) for winning the Youth Division with 13 home runs, and Matt Householder for taking the Adult Division with 20 home runs. Both will be receiving a $50 gift card to DICK'S Sporting Goods!
