A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support our 1st Annual VFW Auxiliary Mini Golf Tournament! We’re incredibly grateful for all of our volunteers and a special shoutout to the DCC baseball players for providing safe rides all over town—your support truly helped make the afternoon a success.
A big thank you as well to the Glendive Community Cancer Fund for helping with our Closest to the Pin contest, and to everyone who generously donated items for the silent auction—your contributions mean more than you know.

We also want to send a huge thank you to all of the bars who hosted us throughout the day—your hospitality, teamwork, and support helped make this event such a fun and memorable experience for everyone involved.

Our Auxiliary had a full and meaningful Veterans Day. Our vice president and Little Miss Buddy Poppy proudly joined the Big Sky Quilts of Valor group for their heartfelt quilt presentations at EMVH and the VFW Post. A few of our members brightened the day for residents with the candy cart at EMVH and lent a hand with the Veterans dinner, while others helped raise and retire flags all around town. It was a busy day of service and gratitude—proof that our little Auxiliary in Glendive, Montana, has a big heart for our veterans. ❤️🇺🇸

2025-2026 National President Lois Callahan's special project is the VFW Auxiliary's Continuing Education Scholarship.

The VFW Auxiliary's Continuing Education‪ scholarship‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ is available to Auxiliary members, their spouse, son or daughter who are 21 years of age or older and wish to further their education by pursuing a college degree or career direction at a vocational/technical school.

This is incoming National President Lois Callahan's 2025-2026 Special Project, so chosen because she knows firsthand how difficult it can be returning to school as a continuing education student. She benefitted from Pell Grants and the emotional support of her Auxiliary while studying to become a pediatric occupational therapist and she wants to help ensure that other Auxiliary members can benefit from the help they need long into the future. That's why, throughout the year, members will be fundraising and raising awareness about this special scholarship. How will YOUR Auxiliary get involved?

Application and an essay of no more than 300 words are due to National Headquarters by February 15, 2026. ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
