πŸ—³οΈβœ¨ Your voice matters! Thanks to robust voter turnout last August, we successfully passed the high school bond and levy. Now, we need that same energy to secure the elementary district land purchase. Remember, ballots are due by May 7th. Local elections impact our community directly, so let's make our voices heard again! 🏫🌟

Ballots are out. Might be in your mailbox, on the table, or in my case most likely buried with junk mail next to the front door. The first thing I’m

πŸŽ‰ Big News for Dawson County High School! πŸŽ‰

We're thrilled to announce that funding has been secured for the much-needed bond projects at Dawson County High School, thanks to the overwhelming support of our voters. Your trust and confidence in the vision for the future of education in our community are truly appreciated.

What makes this even more exciting is the favorable terms we've secured based on the district's excellent credit rating. These terms will ensure that we can maximize the impact of every dollar invested in our school facilities, providing our students with the best possible learning environment for years to come.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who voted and believed in this project. Together, we're shaping a brighter future for Dawson County High School and the students who walk its halls. 🌟

Ballots for the upcoming school election are on their way. The Glendive Public Schools Board of Trustees is asking voters to approve the purchase of 39.08 acres for $136,786.

The district is not seeking funding for the land, but rather is asking voter permission to purchase the land using funds from the Building Reserve Levy passed by voters in May of 2023.

The ballot language specifies that the land would be utilized by the district for constructing a school building or other facilities for school purposes if and when funds become available.

Your vote will shape the future of education in our community. Let's make our voices heard and ensure a brighter future for our children. Don't forget to cast your vote and return your ballot. Together, we can make a difference! "
