Imagine Theatre

Imagine Theatre Imagine Theatre is Los Angeles' Equity Theatre for Young Audiences Imagine Theatre is LA's Premier Theatre for Young Audiences!

We tell relevant stories about gender equity and inclusion, spotlighting female heroes. We strive to dynamically engage with youth of all cultural and economic backgrounds, inspiring them to face life with creativity, insight, empathy and courage. We proudly seek to empower girls to make their own choices in life, to know they are worthy of the best opportunities, worthy of having a voice and spea

king their minds, worthy of fulfilling their dreams. We commit to championing girls and enabling them with the confidence to succeed; and to teaching boys to understand why gender equality is good for everyone, recognizing their role in promoting these values. Derived from the experiences of many different ethnic groups that make up LA’s diverse cultural diaspora, IP invites children and parents to come together in the vast and nurturing space of theatre to make a difference in the lives of kids everywhere.

Amidst the welter of Best of and Most lists for 2025, American Theatre magazine took on a wider time horizon in its survey of the most influential theatre titles of the last 25 years, or quarter-century if you prefer. 📯❗️📯 Ensure the 23,000 are not the last!

As children lean forward in their seats, captivated by live performance, they begin to imagine who they might become. Those moments are not accidental.

Sustaining the Stage is a time-sensitive campaign to raise $20,000 to support the people, systems, and artistry that make these experiences possible at Imagine Theatre. Link below! Your gift keeps the lights on, the doors open, and vital stories reaching young audiences right now, when they need them most. Imagine Theatre is asking the community it serves to step forward—so the 23,000 children, educators, and parents we have welcomed since 2016 are not the last.

We are seeking immediate leadership gifts of $500, $1,000 (our primary target), $2,500, and $5,000.

These contributions will directly sustain Imagine Theatre’s operations and determine our ability to continue serving young audiences in the year ahead. https://ci.ovationtix.com/35252/store/donations/57583?mc_cid=7be6466477&mc_eid=2a44f60619
