We’re still in awe… 🤯

The Jaguar sold at auction for an incredible $40,000—all in support of Veterans Community Project Glendale!

This moment is a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for a greater purpose. Every dollar raised will help us continue building a village of hope, stability, and dignity for Veterans.

We are deeply grateful to Martin Auto Museum & Event Center for their generous donation of this beautiful vehicle, to the Mayor Jerry Weiers - Glendale, AZ and his team for proudly representing VCP during the sale, and to for hosting such an outstanding event.

Thank you for standing with our Veterans.

Today on , let us tell you a story about how your gift can be the difference of a Veteran stepping out onto the streets or stepping into a stable future.

Earlier this holiday season, a U.S. Navy Veteran walked through the doors of Veterans Community Project with nowhere else to turn. His life had fallen into crisis, and he was facing imminent eviction from his home. Yet he only asked us this:

“Can you help me pay my phone bill before I get disconnected?”

Rooted in personal pride, his thinking was simple: if he could stay connected to the world, he could figure out the rest by himself. But that’s not how VCP works. And that’s not all it takes to fix Veteran homelessness.

With your support, we provided emergency assistance to keep this Veteran from losing his home and ensured his phone stayed connected. But we also sat down for a deeper conversation about what was really going on.

The root cause was unemployment. Life had spiraled after he lost his job. He was ready to work but was running into closed door after closed door. Just days earlier, though, our VCP case manager had met a local company eager to hire more Veterans—so we made a call. Within hours, this Veteran went from bracing for homelessness to preparing for a job interview.

The other day, he called us with an update—this time with a smile in his voice, happy tears in his eyes, and pride in his heart. He told our case manager he was named “Employee of the Month.”

Our eyes swelled, too, knowing your generosity made this moment possible. He’s home for the holidays, working again, and stepping into the new year with hope he didn’t have before.

That’s the power of your support. And today on , we’re aiming to raise $35,000, which is the amount we anticipate needing to meet the surge of Veterans seeking emergency assistance this winter.

So now, before you keep scrolling, can you extend that same support to the next Veteran who walks through our doors in crisis? Your gift today can stop a Veteran from losing everything tomorrow.

Every minute counts this . Make your gift before midnight:

Today on Veterans Day, we want to say thank you.

Because you do more. More than wave a flag. Or post a message of gratitude. As a supporter of Veterans Community Project, you make sure that when a Veteran hears “Welcome home,” there’s actually a home waiting for them.

And in 2025, you have done more. Already this year, a record 25 previously homeless Veterans have moved out of tiny homes and into their own sustainable permanent housing, 49 more have begun transforming their lives in our Villages, and over 1,000 others at imminent risk of homelessness received critical support before they fell through the cracks.

So, from all of us at Veterans Community Project, thank you for doing so very much. And we hope you walk with pride this Veterans Day, because the Veterans whose lives have been transformed by your generosity are right there walking alongside you.
