Make a child’s Reading Tutor Wish List come true! ✨📚 Our students shared what they hope for in a reading tutor: someone who loves Minecraft, superheroes, crafts, Barbies, sports, silly jokes, and fun stories. The little things that help them feel excited, supported, and seen.

Achieve Pinal and the AARP Experience Corps Reading Program are looking for volunteer tutors to support K–3 students across Pinal County. You could be the tutor a child is hoping for.

✅ Volunteers must be age 45+ and able to pass a background check
✅ No experience needed — training provided

(June 25-27) Expect delays on the east bound lanes.

Drivers traveling eastbound on I-10 through the Wild Horse Pass Corridor should plan for lane restrictions to complete emergency repairs at the Gila River Bridge.

Eastbound I-10 will be narrowed to one lane near the Gila River Bridge (mileposts 173-172) from 6 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, to 5 a.m. Thursday, June 27. The speed limit in the work zone will be reduced to 35 miles per hour.

Drivers are advised to reduce their speed, drive with caution, expect delays, and allow extra travel time.
