📣 Burbank educators support workers fighting for a union and a contract, whether they're educators, baristas, or climbing gym staff!

Last night, BTA's Representative Council approved a resolution directing BTA to support a boycott called for by Starbucks Workers United, the union representing thousands of Starbucks workers nationwide. At this point, Starbucks is one of the biggest labor law violators in modern U.S. history, and their workers deserve our support.

As part of the resolution, BTA will support Starbucks workers and their union by:

☕️ Committing to operate as a Starbucks-free organization. We will source all coffee for meetings and events from companies not engaged in union-busting.

☕️ Encouraging members and our community to honor the boycott.

☕️ Encouraging affiliate and partner organizations to honor the boycott.
