AYSO Region 88

AYSO Region 88 AYSO Region 88 Glendale AYSO Region 88 generally serves the communities of Glendale and La Crescenta.

However, since AYSO does not have residency requirements, Region 88 also has players from Los Angeles, Tujunga, Sunland, La Cañada, Eagle Rock and other nearby communities.

New age group model starting fall 2026:
AYSO now uses a school-year age matrix with an August 1 cutoff to determine player divisions, aligning with U.S. Soccer and other major youth soccer organizations.

Under this model, a player’s division is based on their age during the school-year timeframe of August 1 through July 31.

For Example: A player who is 5 years old on August 1 will play in the 6U division for that Fall season.

This age group cutoff aligns soccer age groups with school-year peers, helping more players participate and stay in the game with their classmates and friends.
