25 Years Later — We Remember. We Honor. We Never Forget.

Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001, a day that changed our nation forever. We pause to honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families who continue to carry their memory, and the first responders and everyday heroes who showed unimaginable courage.

As we reflect on this anniversary, we remember the unity, compassion, and strength that rose from the darkest of days. We hold close the reminder that even in tragedy, kindness and community can shine through.

May we continue to honor those we lost by living with purpose, gratitude, and love for one another. We will never forget. 🕊️

This back‑to‑school season, children in foster care were lifted up once again by the incredible generosity of Maximus. Their annual donation of backpacks, school supplies, and essentials ensures every child starts the year feeling prepared, supported, and truly seen.

The truly lived up to their “Heroes with Halos” title this year. Their incredible generosity provided 200 pairs of brand‑new shoes for children in foster care, surpassing last year’s impact and helping our kiddos step confidently into the new school year.

🎒💛 Back to School, Back to Community

We had the joy of joining one of our partner group homes for a Back‑to‑School kickoff party, a fun and meaningful way for every child to celebrate a fresh start. The afternoon was full of icebreakers and team‑building games like Bingo, helping the kids connect, build confidence, and start the year feeling supported and included.

Staff also shared their education program, which celebrates students for their achievements; from improved grades to positive classroom behavior. Watching the kids light up as they talked about their goals was a beautiful reminder of how powerful encouragement can be.

Moments like these show exactly why your support matters. When children feel seen, supported, and celebrated, they step into the school year with pride and possibility. 💛✨

- Weekly grocery support during summer & school breaks, so children have access to fresh, nutritious meals.
