🍊Nourishing Kids All Summer Break! Summer is one of the most challenging times of year for the children living in the 72 foster care group homes we support. When school is out, so are the daily breakfasts and lunches many of our kids rely on, leaving caregivers to stretch already‑tight budgets to cover every meal, every day.
To help bridge that gap, Arizona Sunshine Angels provides weekly grocery support to all 72 group homes throughout the entire summer. Each home receives $100 every week, ensuring the children in their care have access to fresh, nutritious food during the months when they need it most. That $100 helps feed 10 children for an entire week, giving caregivers the flexibility to purchase fruits, vegetables, proteins, snacks, and other essentials that keep kids healthy and thriving.
