Today, members and volunteers from the Glendale Sunrise Rotary Club came together with heart, teamwork, and purpose to install all 1,000 flags for our Field of Honor. 🇺🇸

Each flag represents a hero.
A loved one.
A veteran.
A first responder.
Someone who made a difference in the lives of others.

Seeing the field come to life today was powerful and emotional. It’s a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community unites to honor service, sacrifice, and hope.

May 19–25, Forest Lawn Glendale will be transformed into a breathtaking Field of Honor, featuring 1,000 American flags standing tall in tribute to our heroes.

Each flag tells a story — honoring veterans, active-duty military, first responders, community leaders, and the everyday heroes who have made a lasting impact in our lives.

The display is free and open to the public, and you can also sponsor a flag in honor of someone special. Sponsorships help support important local programs, including veterans housing and community service projects.

Whether you sponsor a flag or simply walk through this beautiful tribute, we hope you’ll join us for a powerful moment of reflection, gratitude, and community pride.

Our members had an amazing time at the Cerritos Elementary School Spring Festival Fair!

It was a beautiful day connecting with families, supporting our local school, and being present in the community we care so deeply about. Events like this remind us why we do what we do—building relationships, spreading positivity, and showing up where it matters most.
