We are committed to the idea that a dynamic and healthy city is one where important issues are addressed in an open and honest dialogue between the City Council and the city’s informed and concerned citizens. Our mission is to promote accountability, responsiveness, transparency and in

tegrity in Glendale City Government through the dissemination of accurate information. We contribute to the sustainable growth of business, population and government by acting as the voice of residents and business owners. Our labor consists in educating and engaging residents and business owners in the dynamics of City management and politics. We also support political candidates that represent transparency, accountability, integrity and responsiveness.

Why does the Glendale C.B.G. endorse these candidates?

The Glendale Coalition for Better Government is concerned that the Glendale City Government be transparent, responsive, and accountable. That must start with the City Council…the peoples’ elected representatives who direct and set the tone for the City.

Between 2-22 and 3-3, 2020, the citizens of Glendale will be voting to fill three vacant City Council seats. There are eight candidates who have qualified to be on the ballot.

Deferred Retirement Option Plan, or DROP pays veteran cops and firefighters their salaries and pensions simultaneously for up to five years. People in the private sector should propose this to their bosses and see how well that will go for them!!! 😏😏

DROP program suffers many problems, a confidential report shows, putting more pressure on City Hall to make fixes in wake of Times investigation.
