Goldensun is an intentional, faith-based community with a mission for serving adults with developmental disabilities capable of living independently with services and staff. Our passion is to extend Christ’s love to individuals with developmental disabilities, empowering them toward increased independence and enriched lives through interdependent relationships. Goldensun is founded on a culture of

community where members experience a healthy, independent environment and simultaneously benefit from shared transportation, community activities and friendship with peers in their neighborhood. This is accomplished with a mutually supportive team that includes our members, their families, and a dedicated, trained, and caring staff.

Today is National Nonprofit Day.

As a nonprofit organization, our mission has always been to serve adults with developmental disabilities by providing safe homes, meaningful opportunities, spiritual support, and a community where each person is treated with dignity and care.

For more than 20 years, that work has been made possible through the generosity of donors, the dedication of volunteers and staff, and the support of families and community partners who believe in our mission.

We are grateful to everyone who helps strengthen our community.

Our monthly potluck is one of our favorite traditions.

Good food is only part of the reason everyone looks forward to it. Potluck nights create opportunities to catch up with friends, welcome visitors, share stories, and enjoy time together outside of our usual routines. These gatherings help strengthen relationships and foster the sense of belonging that is such an important part of our community.

We are grateful for every member, family, volunteer, and supporter who helps make these gatherings so meaningful.
